Agree if there was a MLSN + GA. There is not one now and there may never be one. |
| Did EcnL force FVU here in nova so they could make room for a second team in Richmond? |
What’s a Grove? |
Who cares. ECNL is a joke. MLSNext or bust. |

What’s a Grove?
Grove United - Another soccer club in the Richmond area...they were formed a few years back and have a boys program and mens and are starting a girls program. On the mens side, they have their youth academy teams and a U19 & U17 team and their NPSL squad. Not sure too much about what they have planned long term on the girls/womens side. Plus there is UK (Unknown Athlete) that is running programs, mainly training but they have a summar womens WPSL squad, plus there's Virginia Velocity which in running youth academy teams pus FC Richmond...geez. Once I looked around, more programs that I thought than just Strikers and Kickers! |
Fixed it for you. |
Seems unlikely. FVU is because the teams weren't competitive. Not sure a 2nd team down in Richmond would be competitive either. |
| That’s the point. Why replace non competitive team with another unless the plan was to get a second team in Richmond all along. |
Maybe Richmond United will merge into the Inter Academy partnership under the Strikers. |
What would that do? |
|
Guys. I’ve already told you all the plan.
There will no longer be Richmond Strikers or Richmond Kickers. From REC through ECNL. It will all be Richmond United. There will be 2 ECNL teams at the top and 2 regional league teams below. Trust. |
What would be the advantage of this? The NC clubs that have 2nd teams are usually bottom of the table and not competitive. |
Since you’re spreading the truth, is anyone from either of these 2 clubs connected to ECNL Headquarters in Richmond? |
This just goes to show people don’t really know what’s going on and who is helping create things. |
