But I have a hard time getting particularly worked up about what the FBI found here.

It's not illegal to say "death to the Jews" in an abstract sense as long as it's not an imminent threat. It's not illegal to have flags supporting Hamas or any other movement, no matter how loathsome many of us find Hamas to be. And unfortunately, in most cases, it's not illegal to have guns or ammo, either.

So what exactly is the problem here?

I think we should be concerned about armed racist and antisemitic militias in the U.S. These Palestinian terrorists in Virginia are the mirror image of the Tree of Life synagogue shooter and the Nazi who killed a Black officer at the Holocaust museum before he was neutralized.

Right wingers have essentially enshrined our rights to be heavily armed and say offensive things. The fellas had their guns legally and every right to them, as was evidenced when the court retuned them. They’re allowed to have banners with slogans you don’t like. This is about today’s America as you can get. So what’s the problem?

When everyone can have guns and lots of ammo, everyone can have guns and lots of ammo.

Little too late for that now. The GOP is in charge, so no gun rights are going to be taken away.

Why didn’t the Democrats do something when they were in charge?

I will say the president of George Mason seems to have moral clarity and be much better than many of the University presidents in the news. Early on before this incident he responded to hate speech right away. I though he handled this situation well too. He seems to care about protests remaining peaceful and creating a safe community.

They did.

They made sure these would-be terrorists weren’t interfered with.

He must have kept the pro Israelis mobs out if that is the case. Those people are terrorists.

He seems to not understand that in this country there is a constitutional and his unconditional support of Israel and its prosecution of its enemy of the day is nit allowed here. He need to return to his homeland and join the IDF.

Dr. Washington is from this country and is a well respected leader. He has done an excellent job at George Mason. What are you talking about?

Why do you assume Dr. Washington’s “homeland” is Israel?

Not the person you are responding to, but what does the photo have to do with anything. The man is well-educated Ph.D engineer I think from NC. However, the photo tells you nothing. You do know Israel has Jews, Druze, and Muslims from all over and all these groups come in all shades and colors, right? Most of the Jews in Israel are Mizrahi, Beta, Sephardic, etc-more so than Ashkenazi.
