Obama really pissed off black people in this election. I am really sick of folks spewing this. Kamala was a great candidate. I must say, better than I expected. Biden waited too long. Trump barely won. No Dem was going to win in this cycle.

I disagree. That’s why Obama was apparently trying to get Sen. Kelly the nomination.

Just look at the way Obama handled these issues during his campaigns. He effectively always said that he understands why people feel uncomfortable but he’s personally comfortable enough in his own manhood to be okay with X, Y, and Z.

It certainly works a lot better than yelling at people that by not agreeing with you they are racist misogynistic murderers.

Stop dreaming. Sen Kelly would not have beaten Trump this year. This is precisely why no reasonable Democrat (Shapiro, Newsom, Whitmer) wanted anything to do with this ticket. It wasn't just Harris, although she was a big part of the problem. But the Biden administration in general was such a disaster that the country was screaming for change - any change.

No, the choice was to have a primary during the normal timetable instead of clearing the field for Biden. Democrats didn't need democracy until they did.

I did giggle when Biden wore the MAGA hat. It was pretty clear he was not a Harris fan. I so wish there had been a primary. There were plenty of good candidates among those who likely have presidential aspirations.

Do you blame him? He had a palace coup pulled on him. He’s got every right to be bitter. He should’ve had the chance to run, like any incumbent president should’ve had, and win or lose on his own.

I don’t like Biden, but I’m furious for how he was disrespected by his party.
