Dem Donor: Biden Nominated Kamala Harris To Say "F You," "Obama Did Not Want Her" Democratic megadonor John Morgan tells “CUOMO” that those who poured money into the Harris-Walz campaign were trying to defeat Trump, not elect Harris. When asked about how he thinks President Joe Biden feels about the 2024 election result he said, “He nominated her, basically Obama did not want her. Obama did not endorse her for five days, Pelosi did not want her. Pelosi told her California delegation, there will be a conference, there will be a Caucus, there will be a convention. We basically ran on this deal where democracy, democracy, and then we didn't have democracy in picking our nominee.” He added that President Joe Biden only selected Harris to replace him as the Democratic presidential nominee because, “it was to say, f you to Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama and every representative that was pushing him out.” I believe this. Joe and Jill are never going to get over Joe being pushed out. They will forever insist that Biden could have beat Trump a second time. |
I believe this but, spell out to me how they would have skipped over Harris without unleashing a national temper tantrum on TikTok about racism. |
How did Gen Z eventually vote in this election? Did they show up? Did they vote for Harris? |
They could not have done so. But, Biden should have resigned and Kamala taken the presidency. |
The exit polls don’t stratify exactly by gen z which is up to age 27, rather the exit polls use the 18-29 age range. Trump won the men, Harris the women. |
It would have been doable if he had dropped out much earlier and there was a genuine primary and the chips fell where they may. But at that late stage, I agree PP it was too late and had to be her. |
For the love of G-d can the washed up grifter Obamas just go away? Who anointed them king and queen of the Democratic Party? |
Resigned? I don't even think he was the one who tweeted that he was dropping out of the race. Who do you think broke the news to him? |
They couldn't which is why Dems (and I am one) need to drop this obsession with barely-existent racism. That isn't to say drop civil rights protections and some education, but harping on race all the time like DEI demands helped lose us an election. |
Obama was smart enough to realize that this wasn't the election to run a POC woman.
Look at young men - they've been absolutely primed by podcasts and social media to be anti-woman. The current media absorbed by young men is horrifically toxic; it's a lot worse than 15 years ago when I was in my 20s. Conservative Inc built a better mouse trap for capturing these young male minds. Democrats could've blunted this advantage with a white male POTUS candidate. Obama knew the time was not right for a Harris presidency, given how young men are trending the historic unpopularity of the Biden administration. The well was poisoned. The cards just were not in her favor. |
Their favorability ratings — especially Michelle’s. People genuinely like her. |
This was clear from the beginning as he dragged his feet to endorse her. He was right too.
The fact of the matter is the voters didn't want her at the top of the ticket in 2020 and she did nothing to change her image in the last four years. I believe Biden threw his weight behind her spitefully in retaliation for being pushed out because he knew she couldnt win. |
I understand that, but she’s not a politician, has never been elected to any position, and has turned down the presidency several times. Also: how does being married to a former president equal being qualified to be president? First Hillary, now Michelle; two former First Ladies who are qualified to be president based on their marriages. |
For a woman of color to win, she basically would have to be the female version of President Obama and she definitely was not. |
Harris was one of Obama's earliest supporters and she literally went door to door for him in Iowa in 2007/2008.
I don't believe the OP for a second. |
