DH works in an agency and good god, the 70 year olds have to retire and job description for some of these folks is completely unnecessary - total redundancy, a waste of funds for taxpayers and complete inefficiency all around. I'm not suggesting Trump and his administration are the right people to overhaul it, but yeah, you're in denial or lying if you think our government in its current condition is effective and efficient!

So you're basing your entire outlook on your husband's experience in one agency.

I've personally seen stupidity in HUD, Department of the Army, DOJ, FBI, Labor, Commerce, ODNI, CIA, NSA, and FTC. SEC has to be one of the better ones based on my experiences, however.

I've been on a ton of seventh floors. The federal government is gorked. If you don't understand that, your judgment is impaired.

Have you never worked for a private company? As if there isn’t massive bloat everywhere. It’s wealthy gatekeeping jerks that are causing the problems everywhere. Don’t blame labor for stupid management decisions.

Regardless, if most conservatives feel the way those people do why don't we just get rid of the Federal government altogether and let people figure stuff out for themselves? I swear 50% of the posts were about how we should fire 80% of the federal workforce and how lazy and inept the federal workers were.

So the idea is that we should put everything back to the states, remove the federal government and dissolve the "United States" is that what conservatives would prefer? Because without the Federal government what is the point of being a united states of America? Just become individual states that govern themselves.

Musk fired 80% of X staff. It's now setting records for viewership and usage and better than ever. Same could apply to the federal government.

So you're equating X, a social media platform, with the federal government? Ok.

Both are going bankrupt and facing population collapse, so....

It’s adorable that you think Reddit allows conservatives to have a forum

You sweet, summer child…those aren’t conservatives. Those are liberal trolls LARPing, posting what they imagine conservatives would post, to generate clicks and outrage.

Seriously - wise up.

Actual conservatives are run off of Reddit even faster than here at DCUM

I don’t think we should hold up the conservatives or liberals on social media as examples of what most think. Social media is insane!

+1 the normal around you don’t talk this way. I suggest everyone ground your world view based on what you see and interact with in real life. Social Media and the news can be skewed. Nobody can change what is actually in front of you.
