She’s qualified…she has a sex scandal! Google for your edification.

Why am I not surprised yet another Trump nominee is facing a sex scandal? is this the scandal you were talking about PP or is there another one?

“Last month, a group of five former “ring boys” named the McMahons in a sex abuse lawsuit along with World Wrestling Entertainment and its parent company, TKO Group. The John Does alleged that from the 1970s to the 1990s, former WWE announcer Melvin Phillips Jr. groomed and sexually assaulted them and other minors, without any consequences.

What’s more, they claimed the McMahons—in their capacity as chief WWE executives—specifically knew about and ignored Philips’s predation. His “peculiar and unnatural interest” in young boys prompted the couple to fire Phillips in 1988, the lawsuit says; they quickly reinstated him on the condition he “steer clear from kids,” which he didn’t.

The problem is that America has made it crystal clear that they don’t care about these types incidents.

It's absolutely astounding that Republicans are sitting there trying to keep a straight face making ridiculous comments as if this is a perfectly sane, normal and appropriate nomination.

What a complete clown show.

And in data point #6,824 highlighting Trump's advanced dementia one has to wonder if he even knows who he nominated or what she even did.

Trump: "She did a great job during COVID!"

She RESIGNED from the Trump administration BEFORE COVID EVEN HIT.

Trump pumpers on this forum are either completely clueless about any of the realities of how bad Trump is and are impervious to those facts, or have phenomenally bad judgement, or are the most dishonest people on the planet and genuinely want to see the country burn to the ground.

OMG! Dear MAGA…. I am sure there are plenty of sycophants who are not such clowns, why pick such sleaze bags???

Yes, that fictional TV show is a clown show. That's not what the problem is

Is this why Republicans are so afraid of boys transitioning into girls? They don't want to lose their prey?

It absolutely is and this is the garbage the pathetic Dem Party lost to in two of three elections. If this isn't reason for both parties to be abandoned by voters, I don't know what it is. Think. Read. Do better people!

This. The first time Trump was president he had plenty of qualified people in his cabinet and administration. That's because he didn't expect to win and wasn't prepared. Establishment Republicans helped him with his picks. This time around, he's staffing his administration with MAGA sycophants who are, by definition, in the cult or are doing a good pretending to be. What normal person would work for him?

Yep. And Elon has announced that he will bankroll primary challenges to any Republican in Congress who dares question any of Dear Leader's choices.
And this is how the slow roll to autocracy starts . . .
I listened recently to historian Anne Applebaum (a former R) who has studied autocracies (both on far left and far right) and she said that one of the indicators of a slide into authoritarianism is that no matter how insane a statement or position taken by the Dear Leader---his party apparatchiks and media-sphere offer no criticism or questioning. If Trump says the sun rises in the west, then Tucker/Shapiro/MTG/Lindsay Graham et al will all tell us that we cannot believe our eyes or compasses . . . You know, like "They're eating the pets!"

Trump has never tried to get the best people. Her picks ones who are loyal to him not the country.
