Alot of white men love sports and are the energy behind the kids in sport thing.
My son has a weinie personality. Flag football has been really good to toughen him up. I've heard employers are looking for kids who played team sports because they have much better social skills, can take criticism without wilting. |
Employers talking about team sports are just another coded way for white men to hire white men. Female athletes, athletes of hispanic and asian descent, these team sport participants don't get a boost. And let's be real, it's only certain sports. |
| People who perform at a high level in sports do better in college, college acceptance, leadership and business. |

| It's funny to me that the OP mentioned 2 year olds at the ice rink. My (white) DD figure skates and I'm at the rink several days a week -- sooooo many of the youngest skaters are Asian girls; they have their own coaches and are working with them. Half the various elite teams are Asian girls. Etc... |
Lots of ice skaters are Asian-American, but many are white. Most ice hockey players are still white, but mixed between Russian and unspecified American white mix. |
Yes, the first thing they asked me in BigLaw was what travel sport I played
|
| I think many of us also follow our child. My younger one has always had a ton of energy and always had a ball in hand or by foot. He now plays soccer 4 days/week by choice and still probably has energy to add more days if he wanted to. The other DS is never far from a rubiks cube or Lego and needs to be encouraged to get up and move his body. |
Shut up |
You are a sheep. |
Original. Showing off that brain power of yours. |
You are an internet dweeb |
This makes no sense |
| Well, one thing my kid’s coach says to my kid a lot is “shake it off.” It’s a good life skill even in an anonymous Internet forum |
