Oh please. Trump was a laughing stock. World leaders thought he was a clownish buffoon. And that will be even worse this time around, knowing that he is senile. |
you are an idiot- the USA will never leave israel's side, we were told relentlessly that democracy is on the line. But support for Israel is paramount, ironclad and worth risking american democracy over. The special envoy to the UN told Drs without borders and other aid workers, after being shown war crime footage that the Israel is a vital ally and NOTHING that the aid agency shows them will affect US support of the war. Just b/c you missed that article doesnt mean arabs did. Harris wouldnt even let a Palestinian speak at the DNC, in fact she even refused to meet with any arabs during her whole campaign. Its you who are living in Lala land maybe if your son had burned alive in a tent you wouldnt be such a fantasist. there will never be a palestinian state so its in the best interest of palestinans to move on from this and survive, not keep dieing for a dream. JHC did you hear clinton's remarks while he was stumping for Harris - "they were there first, before Islam" as if people who convert religions also lose their claim to their homes and land and ethnicity. |
why is there no answer to this question- it was honetly the turning point when i abandoned Biden/Harris, when i read this account from the meeting they had when Biden refused to host a White house Iftar. hes a good old fashioned catholic, raised on tales of the heroism of good Queen Isabella and touquemeda cleansing spain of the Moors. thats all Netenyahu is doing as well, cleansing the Holy Land |
Ukraine war was started for oil. Hunter is an energy consultant for a Ukrainian natural gas company. Imagine if Trumps sons did that, the media would go insane. Grocery prices are also at all time highs so if the domestic oil production is truly at all time highs that means there’s incompetence going on. The oil is exported because the Us is losing influence due to many countries abandoning the dollar |
And Biden/Harris have? They have been presiding over this for over a year now. How many deaths in Gaza. They have done nothing! Once Trump is in, hope is that he puts pressure on Iran to stop the conflict with Israel. Stop hezbollah in the north and what’s left of Hamas in the west. Israel is not bombing Gaza for the fun of it. It’s responding to the brutal Hamas attacks from 10/7. Hamas releases the hostages, Hamas surrenders, Israel has not reason to keep attacking Gaza. Even Netanyahu will have me zero support in Israel after that. Who control Hamas and gave them ammo and training to attack Israel, Iran. So Trump may be the better option here. |
Ha! No! Good try! Ignorance got Trump elected. You should take steps to remedy your own ignorance: https://nwlc.org/resource/project-2025-what-it-means-for-women-families-and-gender-justice/ https://www.axios.com/2024/11/07/trump-project-2025-second-term-agenda |
I stand by my statement. The sooner people stop being religious the closer we will get to peace. Religion is for the weak and stupid. |
Are you serious with this OP? Like it isn't currently being destroyed???!!! The leadership today under Biden isn't exactly doing much to contain Israel's aggression. Trump may be all in with Israel but he's honest about it. The worst thing you can do in politics is not straight talk or give the perception of straight talk which the Dems are totally guilty of. Oh - yes we totally understand the plight of the downtrodden Palestinians...oh wait! But we need Israel as an ally so you know, not much we can do about anything - Israel has to be happy so whatever they want to do! The other thing is as pro Israel Trump is, he's also isolationist. People have expectations that he will not put the US in the position we currently are in. Either stop it by ending it or get out of it. It's a whole lot better than making empty promises and looking like weaklings which is what's happened under Biden. |
Why can’t OP and others grasp this? They seem determined to put some religious or misogynist spin on the issue. -upthread poster |
These days it's very hard to commit a genocide in secret. People see it. Arab speaking Americans see murdered, mutilated people, children every day they open their social media apps. No matter how much Meta and X and other platforms try to suppress and silence those voices. How could one support a candidate who has an ability to stop that and doesn't? First answer that question and then theorize about Trump. |
Because they are very socially conservative and the men were not going to vote for a woman president. Nor were some of the women. |
Maybe but Israel definitely is bombing out of joy and a desire to expand. At least the people that support Netanyahu needed no convincing. |
This is so obvious, it’s maddening. In fact he’s cool with it because Jared wants to build a resort there. So thanks, Deerborn, for voting to destroy America for some fantasy you have about another country. |
That explains why they voted for a woman governor! |
It is more accurate to say the USA will not abandon Israel in the near term. In the long term, demographic changes and free-flowing information make it far more likely that the golden age of anti-antisemitism is coming to a close. The post-WW2 narrative is collapsing. Much like young people question Hellen Keller's achievements (I only learned this recently), they will question whether Americans should risk anything for a foreign nation, especially the assumptions justifying such actions. The fact young people voted so much more for Trump shows a generational change is afoot. In my lifetime, young people have always leaned left. I don't know what the future holds, but I suspect it will look vastly different than today. |
