It’s getting completely destroyed now.

Trump will end the war. Michigan delivered for him. Now it’s his time to deliver

What will they do when he doesn't?

They chose their Plan A, but they also already blew up Plan B.

Kamala and Walz won’t be able to negotiate with Netanyahu and Hamas for obvious reasons. They won’t be taken seriously by anyone in power in the Middle East. They’re seen as weak and clueless

Oh please. Trump was a laughing stock. World leaders thought he was a clownish buffoon. And that will be even worse this time around, knowing that he is senile.

oh sweetheart- gaza is gone. the choice before me was a slow agonizing death by being burned to death or just blitzkrieg. This isnt a philosophical qustion its real- i had to choose between my family being killed by beingburned alive or a building falling down on them. I picked a building falling down on them.

Also Trump is really stingy - he will tell Israel to kill them quickly and fast and a quick death is better than a slow agonizing death. That is the only choice in front of us. Biden felt more pain looking at black and white photos of long dead children in Poland then he did looking at burned & starving children who he can save , b/c he doesnt actualy think they deseve to live the same way. They are the same as beef and chicken to him, its sad that the chicken has to die but die it must. If you must die, its best to die quickly. I dont think you understand teh psychological torture people have been under and how they yearn to end their sufferring., trump will end it faster. we just want it to stop and we are well aware that extermination is the only resolution. Biden/harris also support extermination or at least find it tolerable. Israel is the USA's most valuable ally- they could keep palestinian children in broithels as part of a sex tourism industry and we will still support them. Id rather the kids died, Allah is ever merciful and to Him is the final return.

You're still pretending that Harris wouldn't have put more pressure on Netanyahu once the election was out of the way, and she had some political flexibility. Are you sure you are not just trying to put your conscience at ease for voting for the candidate who will ensure Gaza's doom just to "send a message" to the democrats?

But, you do make a good point. Trump's election means Gazans will die faster. Unfortunately, it may not have been necessary for them to keep dying at all.

you are an idiot- the USA will never leave israel's side, we were told relentlessly that democracy is on the line. But support for Israel is paramount, ironclad and worth risking american democracy over. The special envoy to the UN told Drs without borders and other aid workers, after being shown war crime footage that the Israel is a vital ally and NOTHING that the aid agency shows them will affect US support of the war. Just b/c you missed that article doesnt mean arabs did. Harris wouldnt even let a Palestinian speak at the DNC, in fact she even refused to meet with any arabs during her whole campaign. Its you who are living in Lala land maybe if your son had burned alive in a tent you wouldnt be such a fantasist. there will never be a palestinian state so its in the best interest of palestinans to move on from this and survive, not keep dieing for a dream. JHC did you hear clinton's remarks while he was stumping for Harris - "they were there first, before Islam" as if people who convert religions also lose their claim to their homes and land and ethnicity.

or repeating islamaphobic LIES that he SAW (he didnt see this b/c it doesnt exist) beheaded babies? There was plenty of horror and pain to see in the images of the october 7th but using the word beheading is just as bad as GW using the word 'crusade' and btw Harris had the Cheneys (!!!!!) campaigning.

why is there no answer to this question- it was honetly the turning point when i abandoned Biden/Harris, when i read this account from the meeting they had when Biden refused to host a White house Iftar. hes a good old fashioned catholic, raised on tales of the heroism of good Queen Isabella and touquemeda cleansing spain of the Moors. thats all Netenyahu is doing as well, cleansing the Holy Land

You’re a prime example of why they see no daylight between Trump’s racism and liberal racism.

At least Trump won’t force their kids to go use bathrooms with men in wigs and won’t force a war on fossil fuels which will cause inflation on everyone. Trump wants to drill in the US and make the US an oil supplier. That would be great for the ME if oil is no longer something the US is interested in going to war for

You are completely dishonest. Domestic oil and gas production under Biden are at all time highs, higher than were under Trump. And Biden didn't start any wars for oil, that was the Republicans. Trump's party.

Ukraine war was started for oil. Hunter is an energy consultant for a Ukrainian natural gas company. Imagine if Trumps sons did that, the media would go insane. Grocery prices are also at all time highs so if the domestic oil production is truly at all time highs that means there’s incompetence going on.

The oil is exported because the Us is losing influence due to many countries abandoning the dollar

No conflict in Middle East.

It does not fix the long standing issues that need to be worked out, but at lease no more death on a large scale.

Biden/Harris were doing NOTHING!

Trump is not going to stop Israel from bombing Gaza

And Biden/Harris have? They have been presiding over this for over a year now. How many deaths in Gaza. They have done nothing!

Once Trump is in, hope is that he puts pressure on Iran to stop the conflict with Israel. Stop hezbollah in the north and what’s left of Hamas in the west. Israel is not bombing Gaza for the fun of it. It’s responding to the brutal Hamas attacks from 10/7.

Hamas releases the hostages, Hamas surrenders, Israel has not reason to keep attacking Gaza. Even Netanyahu will have me zero support in Israel after that.

Who control Hamas and gave them ammo and training to attack Israel, Iran.

So Trump may be the better option here.

This tracks…I’ve been thinking for a while that the MAGAs are basically on track to becoming the Christian Taliban.

Please get a grip. Christian Taliban? This kind of thinking and rhetoric helped Trump win. People supported Trump for lots of reasonable reasons. We are a country with borders — we can’t just have people walking in, no idea who they are, what they’ve done or where they are going. Saying this will turn us into the Taliban is lunacy. But thanks for helping get Trump elected with your lunacy.

Ha! No! Good try! Ignorance got Trump elected.

You should take steps to remedy your own ignorance:

Exactly. The religious groups hate women (evangelical, Orthodox Jews, and Muslims - all have questionable views/practices about women). The sooner we get people to abandoned religion the closer we will get to a better, more peaceful society.

Muslim men didn’t hate Hillary Clinton or Gretchen Whitmer.

Kamala lost 78% of black men. She’s a loser. She was a weak candidate that Biden purposely endorsed so the party couldn’t run Newsom. That’s who Queen Nancy and King Obama wanted to anoint

I stand by my statement. The sooner people stop being religious the closer we will get to peace. Religion is for the weak and stupid.

Are you serious with this OP?

Like it isn't currently being destroyed???!!!

The leadership today under Biden isn't exactly doing much to contain Israel's aggression. Trump may be all in with Israel but he's honest about it. The worst thing you can do in politics is not straight talk or give the perception of straight talk which the Dems are totally guilty of. Oh - yes we totally understand the plight of the downtrodden Palestinians...oh wait! But we need Israel as an ally so you know, not much we can do about anything - Israel has to be happy so whatever they want to do!

The other thing is as pro Israel Trump is, he's also isolationist. People have expectations that he will not put the US in the position we currently are in. Either stop it by ending it or get out of it. It's a whole lot better than making empty promises and looking like weaklings which is what's happened under Biden.

Not voting for Harris was a punishment for the Democratic Party to show that Arab voices matter.

Why can’t OP and others grasp this? They seem determined to put some religious or misogynist spin on the issue. -upthread poster

These days it's very hard to commit a genocide in secret. People see it. Arab speaking Americans see murdered, mutilated people, children every day they open their social media apps. No matter how much Meta and X and other platforms try to suppress and silence those voices. How could one support a candidate who has an ability to stop that and doesn't? First answer that question and then theorize about Trump.

Because they are very socially conservative and the men were not going to vote for a woman president. Nor were some of the women.

Maybe but Israel definitely is bombing out of joy and a desire to expand. At least the people that support Netanyahu needed no convincing.

This is so obvious, it’s maddening. In fact he’s cool with it because Jared wants to build a resort there. So thanks, Deerborn, for voting to destroy America for some fantasy you have about another country.

It is more accurate to say the USA will not abandon Israel in the near term. In the long term, demographic changes and free-flowing information make it far more likely that the golden age of anti-antisemitism is coming to a close. The post-WW2 narrative is collapsing. Much like young people question Hellen Keller's achievements (I only learned this recently), they will question whether Americans should risk anything for a foreign nation, especially the assumptions justifying such actions.

The fact young people voted so much more for Trump shows a generational change is afoot. In my lifetime, young people have always leaned left. I don't know what the future holds, but I suspect it will look vastly different than today.
