Trump is not getting much turnout at many of his swing state rallies. It's hard to fathom how he could actually win. If he does somehow win with such pathetic real-life showings it will indeed raise serious questions.

OP, what exactly don't you get? You only need to look at recent history and voting stats.

Here's the thing...Dems are always complaining that they won the "popular vote" and that Trump only won due to the electoral college...many Dems wanting to abolish the electoral college. Sure, Trump lost the "popular vote" -- but honestly not by that much at all in either 2016 and 2020. This is what you don't get -- this is very telling...proof that the country continues to be divided and we shall see what the 2024 popular vote percentages are.

Taking a look at the past...Trump steadily won 47% of the popular vote both in 2016 and 2020....that's half the country. The only reason Biden won in 2020 is because rather than vote for other third party candidates people voted for Biden.

And now here we are days away from the 2024 election and based on what I've been reading (various sources...not DCUM) it's looking to still be a surprisingly close race - see various threads on why the race is so close. I foresee an increase in the number of popular votes for other third-party candidates (in addition to those simply not voting)....a repeat of 2016.

Concerning and very telling that we are very much still a nation divided. I don't mean to scare anyone here, but I have a sinking feeling that the popular vote will not be the landslide being projected by the Dems.

My 2024 projections are below:
Kamala Harris Democratic 48% of the popular vote
Donald J. Trump Republican 47% of the popular vote
Other Other 5% of the popular vote

And with the popular vote being so close....the electoral college will likely vote....well, we all know what happened in 2016. But maybe I'm totally off-base and Harris will pull more than 52% of the popular vote and we'll see a repeat of 2020 instead. Harris needs to pull votes from the "Other" in order to win this race...she will need more than 50% of the popular vote.

On a side note...on my way home today there were Trump supporters rallying on all four corners of an intersection in Tysons Corner - with signs, flags and shouting vote for Trump. Quite a few cars were honking horns as they passed - I honestly couldn't tell if they were honking in support or opposition.

I am also a former republican voter who would never vote for Trump and do not get it.

Okay a vote for Harris is basically a vote to attempt to stack Suprime Court, Change the scope of illegal immigration. Remember millions have already been allowed to sneak in and hurt our schools, hospitals and safety. You do know there are 13,009 murderers walking around thanks to a harris basically not enforcing anything. Stay in Mexico was
stopped first week Biden was in office.
Not to mention she wants pricing fixing which will cause bread lines. High taxes. There is a reason she will not do a press conference and only gaggles with planned questions from friendly media. No way can I see anyone voting for her. The country will be negatively affected for generations.
