Even when he lived here he never engaged with the community in any meaningful way. He ate at his own restaurant in his own hotel and ordered takeout from Mcdonald's, allegedly because he was terrified that some DC restaurant worker would attempt to poison him.

He is a narcissistic sociopath. He has never cared about anyone or anything in any way beyond how they might be immediately personally useful to him, and DC is no exception. If you don't understand that you don't know a thing about Trump.

lol, Trump is an egomaniac and he knows it makes him look bad if DC, which is the capital of a country that everyone around the world will view as an extension of him if he wins, remains in the situation is has slowly fallen into in the last four years. I know the idea of a safer, cleaner DC scares libs to death but come on. Obviously trump has more of an incentive to clean up DC than he does Detroit.

Thanks for point out that it’s absolutely systemic at every of criminal justice in the city. This is not something that’s easily fixed.
