I know I heard Biden say he would pick a woman as his VP running mate, but he never specified Black. But if you have a cite contemporaneous of the saying, I would appreciate hearing it for myself. TIA |
The chart shows that real black wages are down in the period between Trump leaving office and now. Trump: Black real wages Q1 2017--279, Q4 2021--304. (9 percent increase) Biden: Q2 2021--304, Q2 2024 (latest date available)--300 (0.3 percent decrease) |
The stakes are too high and blacks are risking a disaster. Now is not the time! |

Black people need to sit down, shut up, and vote as they are told. |
What the heck? |
Biden thankfully isn't seeking a second term. Harris is an obvious upgrade from Trump and Biden. Done. |
You didn't even wait 1 second between posts. What sort of bot programming is this fast? |
The extreme inflation under Biden has really hurt Americans of all color. |
Has hurt people on a global scale, since the US Dollar is the basis of world currency. |
Read with your eyes, not your issues. |
Just stop it Vlad. That was a little too much. You went overboard. |
True. Republicans and Black people all want safe communities— but what they mean by that is probably different. As for Baltimore, between white flight and losing major employers, — think Rust Belt level of abandonment— many of the city’s entrenched problems are less about politics and more about what happens in a long-time blue collar city when dominant employers leave, although many factors play a part. I actually loved living and working in Baltimore, so perhaps the PP’s “metrics” are somewhat skewed. It’s hard to tell since no details were provided beyond the obligatory MAGA sneer. |
Safe communities starts with securing the border. 100% lockdown. Only vetted people allowed to cross. DMZ military patrolled zone for the rest. Most people really have no clue how bad it is and how it's spread to many major cities now. |
I can’t access the NYT article, so I’ll simply say that without looking at the data, assessing how the sampling was done, and having a good reason to link the data with actual behavior, it’s hard to know whether anyone is “drifting”. I hope they’re at least sampling people who have strong histories of the actually voting.
This Black female will be voting for Harris - Walz. |
