Did black men vote for Clinton in 2016? If so, not voting for Harris is not misogynistic, maybe they don't like the democrats

Ooooh! Random anonymous internet troll knows every last one of us — and how we vote? Lol. I guess you missed that incredible fundraising effort that occurred immediately after Harris entered the race. We know what’s at stake. And most of us aren’t captured by opinion polls. We know better than to take phone calls from random anonymous people who want to know our business. The best way to predict future behavior is past behavior. We got this. It’s just too bad that there aren’t enough of us to balance out the complacent.

From an historical perspective it is. It is simple math, if Trump gets 15% of the black male vote he wins, and as he would say he wins hugely.

Um, No. Black Americans are about 12% of the population, so, let’s put Black males at 6%. 15% of 6% is not enough to tip the balance — especially when you look at the states those votes are likely to be in. Trump is playing the Electoral College Game — which mostly about the white folks. As you’ve pointed out: It’s simple math, and it’s simply math. It will be interesting to see which way the white women go — particularly in the states where small shifts will really count.

To be blunt, in case this isn’t clear: 15% of 6% is a relatively small number. (Smaller than 1%) Most of those votes are likely to be in states that will go blue anyway.

With Trump in office it means more racial profiling, more innocent black men and women dying from "shoot first ask questions later" cops, more blacks being stopped, searched, frisked, harrassed by police, and all that. Why do we want to go back to that?

Democrats in office means more black victims of crime, with the criminals being released back onto the streets.

Republicans in office mean more white collar criminals in the guise of unfettered corporations preying on all but the super rich. The subprime mortgage crisis disproportionately impacted Black and Latino families.

This is correct. The shift in white male college graduates - from Trump to Biden - is what gave Biden his victory. In 2016 they were Trump +16 and in 2020 were only Trump +3. Even white men with no college degree shifted from Trump +48 to Trump +42.

So despite Trump making better inroads in 2020 among white women, black voters, and Latino voters...it wasn't enough to overcome his losses among white men who voted for him in 2016.

It will be interesting to

Trump hasn't proposed a damn thing to help black and latino families find more better paying jobs, affordable housing, child care, groceries, healthcare, anything. He's barely even said a damn word about it. Harris on the other hand HAS talked about her proposals to help those families.

Just stating the obvious, as that is a big no-no among their culture.

Since “their culture “ doesn’t seem to be your culture, perhaps you should stick to what you know.

did the survey question explicitly ask about Harris versus Trump? no, it asked about party more broadly.

Oh, so I guess they're going to vote for the OTHER Democrat other than Harris running for President. Or the OTHER Republican other than Trump running for President.

Come on man, use your head.

Not being enthused by the current state of the Dem Party is understandable. Voting for Trump is not.

That’s great! I’ve heard of about 90 of them who openly endorsed Harris last month. I’m concerned, though, about the impacts of Murdoch dominated media, the site formerly known as Twitter, and other sources of misinformation.
