Our neighborhood is getting more hipsters lately. I think they're cute. From a parenting standpoint, they seem to do more with both parents being with the kids simultaneously. I'm Gen X and I feel like I did everything when my kids were little.

Also hoping some of them start nicer coffeeshops, LOL.

Hipsters have been around for at least 100 years in some iteration or other. They just go by different names depending on the decade, bohemians, beatniks, hippies, etc. it seemed like in the 70’s-90’s they didn’t really have a name, but they were definitely around.
