Anyone Else Can't Stand Hipsters?

Does anyone else find the whole hipster trend insufferable? I don't know if it's still trendy to be a hipster, but for years now, everything about the subculture has annoyed me. The horrible mustaches, pretentious foods, music, and books and the feelings of superiority for liking everything that is non-mainstream. Most of all, trying so hard to be unique, but by doing so they end up conforming to the sub-culture which itself has become a whole genre and not just a unique niche.
It seems that the trend is not as prominent as it was maybe 5-7 years ago, but I still can't wait until it's no longer cool to be a hipster. |

I can sympathize with OP as there are a few in our neighborhood and they're annoying in that they just seem to try so hard and do things for the sole purpose of getting attention. |

| NP here, I don't care about hipsters either way, but what I find interesting is watching them try to transition into being parents as they age. You can always tell as they're the ones shuttling their kids around in those goofy cargo bikes, and making sure their kids are exposed to non mainstream culture. |

| It's only the mustaches that bother me. So unpleasant to look at. I really enjoyed the metrosexual stage, where guys felt free to get their unibrow waxed. That was glorious time! |
