Was your child born 5’7”? Because most kids who are 5’7” were previously shorter and at some point needed a 30” inseam. Both my teenagers when through a period when a 30” inseam fit them. |
Short?? No man in my family is over 5' 6". |
Are you OP? Your comment is as silly as hers. The height of your particular family is irrelevant to the population average. |

I'd like to know why they produce men's pants in multiple inseam lengths but we women make do with regular, petite and tall?
|
| I'm 6'1" but I've got a potbelly and I wear most pants under them, so I tend to go with a 30 inch inseam. |
What are you talking about? |
|
My DH is 5'10" with a 30" inseam. DS1 is 6'1" with a 32" inseam. DS2 is 6'1" with a 34" inseam.
People are built differently. |
You don't know how big her family is. |
| People have different length legs and torsos. My husband so 5’10-5-11 and wears 30 length. Short legs and long torso. Weird you didn’t know people can be built differently. |
| My 19 yr old son wears them. He's about 5ft 6in tall. They aren't the easiest size to find. |
| No one buys them. No one is shorter than your son. It’s a sign of a vast conspiracy. |
| My husband is 5 inches taller than me but I have longer legs than him. He’s 5’10 and wears 33x30. Obviously proportions are different. I think 30 is a really common length? |
| Tons of those are given away on our local BN group. My guess is Asian men are shorter in general (we have a significant Asian population). |
DS is 6 foot 1 and has a 30 inch inseam. I am 5 foot 9 and have a 32 inch inseam. |
| DH is 5’10, slim, with a 30” inseam. I suppose he has a moderately long torso but not to the point that I even noticed before reading this thread. |
