How do kids find colleges to apply to? Help— senior won’t search!

Really? I honestly don't know an Ivy kids. At least they don't run in the same social circles as my two public school kids.

What is "too-short" of a list? So many students now are applying to 20+ schools and it's ridiculous.

My kid would only apply to JMU if she had her way. We'll make her apply to GMU as backup.

It’s overwhelming for alot of kids. I have mine some ideas of places they could possibly like and get in and then it kind of just built from there.

Mine would only have applied to Virginia Tech. His major had a 60% acceptance rate so felt pretty good about it. But still made him apply to JMU and UDel as backups. Got into VT.
