Secret Service Closing Playground Next to Vance's Del Ray Home

I hate extremists on both sides. Leave these people alone. Vote your conscience in November.

I’m not super familiar with Del Ray…is it a gated community? Like they are literally afraid the neighbors are going to attempt to kill the family and have to keep them away? Or just a normal neighborhood where some crazy from anywhere in the world could drive up and attempt something?

No one’s messing with them, except in their own wounded minds.

It’s not hatred we just don’t want to hang with hillbillies with extremely backwards views that are hostile to everyone that isn’t like them.

Ironic.

Nope. As others have explained, you want us to tolerate intolerance. You would ask us to put up with David Duke or George Wallace while you would defend them. No thanks.

Did a "well regulated militia" vandalize his home and attempt to drive his wife and kids out of town?

Why are his wife and kids living here anyway? Isn't he a Senator from Ohio?

Yeah, it’s kind of funny that they’re living a cushy Blue life while Vance is denigrating the values that help his family live comfortably.

Not all families relocate. Why aren’t his biracial kids growing up surrounded by the values and priorities that Vance claims to uphold?

You just don’t like him. If he left his family in Ohio, you’d criticize that. I don’t like him either, but you’re ridiculous.

The park is really popular with tots and little ones - I thought he was pro-family, or is it just a farce? Or maybe he wants to hang out with the park benches for some alone time at night?

It is because the party of joy, tolerance and hate-has-no-home are anything but.

Why are they terrorizing this family? Especially the wife and children. WTF.

Who is terrorizing the family?

No one, the Vance defenders are just massive snowflakes.

Yarn is scary. And if the family feels terrorized by that, just wait until the “sociopathic cat ladies” come to visit.
Or the kids watch a few videos and realize that their dad lacks the social skills to buy a few donuts.🍩

The good ol' "It's hypocritical to hate people who peddle hatred" chestnut.

Hatred being defined as "things I don't like."

The latter. Steve Scalise was shot at a Congressional baseball game when I lived there. It wasn't a local, someone drove in from out of state.

The post you're referencing is just making fun of the fact that those lawn signs are/were very popular in Del Ray.

It’s just a cute neighborhood in Alexandria. It was very working class and inexpensive when I was growing up but in the last 15/20 years has become relatively popular. It’s one of the few dmv neighborhoods that truly has a small town, close knit feel. It does slant very left so there wouldn’t be that many neighbors supporting trump. When people here are talking about the neighbors protesting, it was by putting up signs saying all are welcome, etc and covering some nearby phone poles in knitted rainbows, which is so del ray.

Nah. Hatred being defined as hatred.

Also, circular logic.

Only if you think that it's circular logic when words mean what they mean, and not something else that they don't mean.

I do love diversity. Does that include this extremely weird and backwards person? Nope.
