The park is really popular with tots and little ones - I thought he was pro-family, or is it just a farce? Or maybe he wants to hang out with the park benches for some alone time at night?

It is because the party of joy, tolerance and hate-has-no-home are anything but.

Why are they terrorizing this family? Especially the wife and children. WTF.

Who is terrorizing the family?

No one, the Vance defenders are just massive snowflakes.

It’s not hatred we just don’t want to hang with hillbillies with extremely backwards views that are hostile to everyone that isn’t like them.

Ironic.

Where does he actually live? He wouldn't have much acreage in Del Ray, correct? So what if the extended perimeter includes a neighbor's house? Do you get a sniper on your roof? Set up a port o potty like Vanky/Jared?

You do not own that neighborhood so please shut up.

Is their link to what happened? Anything other than the yarn bomibijg, which sounds less serious than TP-ing someone’s house and would not ordinarily be considered threatening?

If that happens people should take to the streets!

Yarn is scary. And if the family feels terrorized by that, just wait until the “sociopathic cat ladies” come to visit.
Or the kids watch a few videos and realize that their dad lacks the social skills to buy a few donuts.🍩

Did a "well regulated militia" vandalize his home and attempt to drive his wife and kids out of town?

Why are his wife and kids living here anyway? Isn't he a Senator from Ohio?

Not your roof. But yes, Secret Service presence. Blocking access to your street. Parked in your alley and in front of your house.

Do you really not know how this works?

"Hate has no home here."

That's a bummer. It's a great toddler park and right by the farmer's market. At least it's temporary - if he loses he won't need security, and if he wins he'll presumably move to DC.

You think they're worried about the neighbors?

The good ol' "It's hypocritical to hate people who peddle hatred" chestnut.

Senators and House reps routinely used to bring their families here to live, before there was routine low-cost air travel. (Biden was an exception, with his family staying in Delaware.) And actually it was probably better that way, for everyone.

Yeah, it’s kind of funny that they’re living a cushy Blue life while Vance is denigrating the values that help his family live comfortably.

Not all families relocate. Why aren’t his biracial kids growing up surrounded by the values and priorities that Vance claims to uphold?
