Some parents were keeping their kids isolated at home with a specific, legitimate and significant threat. They were simply scared of school. One poor girl never had the opportunity to go to school until MCPs closed MVA.

Actually some of us with health issues continue to isolate. You wouldn't know because we are isolating. Yea, its sucks but its what we have to do to stay alive.

I didn't override anything. I'd be curious to see the doctors' letters submitted. Despite the parents being able to doctor shop, they still couldn't obtain letters that made a compelling case to MCPS that the children couldn't attend school.

Again, what is your obsession and why do you think you deserve to know why students may choose the MVA? MCPS doesn't have the staff or funding for IIS. They can't put kids into a program not funded or staffed... they set it up on purpose this way.

I said I was curious, not that I had a right to see the letters.

But if you're asking other people to pay for a special program for you, it's natural to expect that people are going to want to see evidence of need if you want their support.
