Lol, ranking 12 year olds.

When the inevitable "what's wrong with US Soccer post" comes back, just flip them this link.

Does anyone wanna tell them by U15 the coaches and entire teams are often replaced on a whim at any of these clubs if they're not keeping up once everyone has hit puberty? You mean nothing to the$e club$ you wor$hip.

Interested to hear experienced parents perspective. How much do rosters change on ECNL (Not RL) teams between U13 and U15 or even U16?

At least 25% of the roster on average changes between those years, some sense of stability after U16

In general, the kids on the girls ECNL team at u16 and above have been on either the top or second to top team since around 10/11 yrs old. When McLean 06 did the big merge with SYC, very few SYC kids made it onto the ECNL roster regularly. From a friend who is an Arlington parent, most of the kids on their HS age ECNL teams had been there for ages, or had come in from other clubs.

Based on early results, it seems like it’s going to be a fun season, particularly in VA. Every team has a chance to beat every team and the talent and quality of play seems really good across the board. Should be an awesome season.

I think you can make a reasonable argument for any of the top three to be in any order. VDA is clearly a step behind at least at this stage.

Yeah, they have an 11 year old that just can't roll forward off the right back fast enough.

Weirdos.

Arlington dad is unbearable, and everyone knows who it is too.

Haha. So true.
