I lived in a group house where some students had hung the MD flag from the rafters a few years before me. This was roughly 40 years ago and we took it down.

I’m born raised in VA and went in-state. Never saw the VA flag waving.

My 2 DS go to liberal arts schools outside of MD (midwest and northeast). Both hang MD flags in their rooms. They love them.
