I find it very enjoyable, also going to movies alone, and if that bothers you or makes you think I ought to be embarassed I feel sorry for you for being so close minded and judgmental. I used to see Lauren Hutton frequently eating brunch alone in Noho while reading a copy of the Sunday New York Times. She looked relaxed and chic and far from weird or awkward.

Yes, all the time (at least, yes, when I lived places with good restaurants).

One of life's simple/great joys is sitting at a bar of a nice restaurant and slowly enjoying the meal and a few glasses of wine.
