I think an almost (!) thirty-yr age gap is a tad too much for you + this guy.

You are both at completely different life stages right now.

Even though you do not need to work, you definitely should have something going on in your life that you are passionate about.
This could be a huge reason that you are left feeling bored.

Perhaps a volunteer job where you can make a difference may be a great idea?
Maybe you can volunteer at an Animal Shelter or even teach an adult how to read??

Another idea could be possibly going to school + getting a certificate or degree.
You may desire a career in the future.

You may also benefit from some individual therapy to work on certain issues about yourself that you would like to change as well.

These actions may give you a better quality of life, make you a more interesting person overall & in a better headspace to meet someone who is closer to your age that you will be more compatible with in the long term.

Because this guy will likely be completely retired sometime after a decade and you would still be under-40.
