Teenage boys—age for crushes

IMO MS boys talk a lot about sex/girls generally in a sexual way, but the crush or interest in a specific girl often comes later—either because they are too nervous to put something in motion or they can’t reconcile the more graphic images they’ve seen online with the 13 year old girl they like.

I know what I’ve seen- girls talking and giggling about a boy who is either totally clueless or ignoring them.
That’s not to say the boys aren’t interested, but many don’t have the social skills to interact at that age.

I always get a good chuckle at moms of teen boys who think their kids are so innocent while most are looking at trashy porn on the daily or not on discord saying the most immature and disgusting vulgar things.

Are you a girl mom? The girls are way, way worse than guys with regard to being vulgar and forward. Obviously, many girls are not…but I can promise you more girls are hitting guys up on social media and sending nude pics than guys are.

Also a teacher and mother of kids this age. To the middle school teacher that posted above this PP, what you’re seeing at school, and what parents who monitor their kids’ phones at home are seeing, will be very different things.
