LMVSC with their "big news coming" announcement.

Yep. Lmvsc is next

The FVU folks won’t like being associated with a club that is named after a confederate general and a plantation.

South County is going to come through for the win. I can feel it.

They don't have time to be woke, they have to take anyone they can get. Looks like they are combining all of the RL clubs in Fairfax County. Wonder if GFR is going to also be part of this. I wouldn't think so otherwise NM would have stayed as part of the the coaching staff.

They are grabbing all the VA RL clubs to demonstrate their is no room for GFR, when GFR makes their push for an ECNL badge this year. That NM divorce was harsh from how FVU is collecting VA RL clubs up like popcorn shrimp nom nom nom! There gonna be no viable clubs left for GFR to partner with unless the TSJ to ECNL rumors play out, then would be a reasonable partnership. ECNL will add another NOVA team by this time next year. FVU is making a sure its not in Fairfax Co.

GFR (with NM) is going to be left on the outside looking in when all the dust settles.

FVU threads? not threats
I think the addition of Herndon shows clubs are trying to bolster their boys programs and grab as much of the cash pot as they can

That means that VDA is having issues.

Does it? The results and recruting of late would say otherwise

Why would Herndon boys go to FVU? Look at their current standings, no talented player would choose FVU over another ECNL National or MLs next team.
FVU Boys
Year: W-L-D
2012: 1-15-1 (14th/15)
2011: 1-14-1 (14th/15)
2010: 7-6-1 (7th/15)
2009: 3-9-2 (12th/15)
2008: 1-11-2 (15th/15)
2006/07: 4-7-3 (12th/15)
And last year when FVU was BRAVE it was also awful
Ask around…

The same reason they always do, they follow their coaches. If FVU is being smart, they have a coach or two from each of these partnerships involved on the boys side.

Herndon is probably the best club in the Loudoun Fairfax area for younger boys pre ECNl. Joining FVU should help Fairfax getting decent talent if it works. I know VDA has gotten lots of talented kids from Herndon.
