Do you make your husband shave his low back (and buttock) hair?

I’m not but I speak for all femanity when I ask that you wear a belt at all times

Why do you need to be asked? It just seems like such an obvious grooming thing to do. And hygienic. Butt hair is so gross, I'm sorry. And lower back hair is an extension of the butt hair, basically.

Facts. Extension of butt hair. Big facts

Once you do your butt, don't you kind of have to do your legs too? It would look really weird to have a shaved butt and then hairy legs.

That’s how normal people look

Once he scratches his belly in the kitchen, standing over the open tub of cheerios and we had to throw it away. Curley hairs everywhere in the Tupperware box.

So gross.

He needs to vacuum more frequently as socks pick it up and then go everywhere! Him waiting it out for the weekly housekeeper doesn’t cut it.

I need to respond with a gif

He doesn't have a hair all over his back, it's just the lower back and buttocks. He thinks it's no big deal. I don't think it's a big deal for him to shave it while in the shower once or twice a week.

OP, these two shavers are what my husband has used to trim that area over the years (rather, he used them before I bought a laser and started lasering it off myself
( which I HIGHLY recommend, especiallyif he's never shaved that area before!).

Your husband will need to use something like this to trim that area, if he wants to do it efficiently & without hurting himself.

Maybe you can buy one of these for him first and then make the suggestion?

Which laser did you get?

Truly it can’t be harder than shaving labia. But I don’t mind hair on men I just find the double standard and demand for women to be slick as dolphins to be insane.

I'm a woman and don't shave my labia, in part because I don't want to, and in part because it is 😁 difficult to do so. My husband does not care. I would never ask him to shave or wax a part of his body he didn't want to.

So you have a nice bush? Big?

Eww old people

You would be surprised at the age of some women with a bush… Some younger women have a big bush.

I would not want my husband to ask me to shave anything I don't want to shave.

DH is not hairy, so I don't have a problem with his body hair, but I don't think I could have sex with someone who is that hairy down there.

Then you're either too uptight or he's not doing it right.

I'm not uptight. I trim mine, so it's not like I prefer no hair, either. But some of these guys are sooo hairy. Not attractive.

I don't know any men who demand women be slick as dolphins. In my 20s, I tried waxing/shaving my pubic hair off but hated how often I had to attend to it to keep it from itching - and, of course, there were the ingrown hairs. Just wasn't worth it. I do use a personal groomer to shape things up down there but DH is fine with whatever I do.

Any guy would would demand you be slick as a dolphin isn't worth it. He ought to be grateful you're willing to put out. So, let's push back on the unfair beauty standards.

+1 I’ve never been with a guy who demanded I be hairless. I shave bikini line and trim up the front, that’s all. Never been kicked out of bed.

Body hair is caused by testosterone. It’s funny that some people here like feminine men.

Hairy men are gross. But, if he wasn't removing it when you were dating and married, you shouldn't ask him to do it now.

This. His body, his choice.
