I love the apple butter that shows up on the door step every fall from the local realtor. I’m sure a lot of you know who I’m talking about

the tangible from 30+ years ago - a couple of weeks of porn star level sex as I was finishing my peace corps service. another volunteer was so into me and we just made it happen (the other volunteer still had a year+ left to go as I was heading home). no communication, no dating, no gifts, just releasing pent up animalistic lust.

Was this with 2 other people? What country?

not a 3-some, just me and another volunteer (different sector, different part of the country).

We have a couple of issues at a very nice hotel (overcooked steaks, room service took 2.5 hours one night), and we gave them feedback. When we checked out, they took my credit card for the final payment but never charged me. We spent $15K.

You spent $15k and how much was charged?

Nothing.

The loveseat in my front living room came from my neighbor. It’s where I gave my morning coffee and evening drink every single day. It’s also a pullout single bed for guests. My favorite item in the house.

When I was 13 or so, I won a contest at a local small grocery store. I won a 12 pack of soda, free for a year (52 coupons). I lived like a QUEEN that year. I sold some, and I used others to bribe my siblings into doing my chores for the week.

In the early 80s our neighbors gave us this play kitchen. I spent hours cooking up a storm

Free prk3-12 education. It included 6 languages, freshly cooked food several times a day, free field trips, tutoring. My language teachers was a linguist who spoke eight languages. My history teacher was a historian. Math teacher was mathematician.
Free rent, transportation, warm food all throughout high school.I think I even got a stipend for doing well at school.
Childhood free hobbies were skiing, skating, swimming. I had four ponies at my disposal and 30 horses. I have scars to show it all. Being put back together was also free just like dentist and all doctors appointments.

My rich relative was moving and had a toddler. I was newly pregnant and very young and he gave me the toddler's entire nursery - 5 pieces.

They have the best trash at a complex I moved into last summer. I went from a small apartment to a townhouse, so I had some empty spaces. My best trash finds: nice office chair, 8x12 super plush rug, coatrack, nightstand. My favorite thing showed up this week: two outdoor chairs that match the table I bought at a thrift store last year.

My daughter asked if I was praying to trash gods.
