While I have some issues with MCPS, this is just a stupid article. Clearly a clickbait. And yes, as far as Maryland goes, MCPS is still the premier school district. Look at the top 10 high schools in Maryland and tell me which county takes up the most spots. Heck, look at the top 20.

You don't know how good it is until you go to most other school districts in the country and world. Grass is always greener on the other...And no this is not Lynne Harris who is running in the BOE election this Tuesday.

I don't know if all districts are as bad as mcps because it's hit or miss if admin will support a teacher or scapegoat a teacher. Regardless, teaching is not an ideal or respected profession in the US.
