When George W. was in the White House, there was absolute rage at how he was the worst of the worst. No one could be “more evil” and the rhetoric just gets so ridiculous that no one believes you have any sound judgment anymore, so even if you did have a legit concern, how would we know what is hyperbole and what is just normal liberal meltdown anymore? I've never understood being "proud" of the country you're from, but I do like living here and probably wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We have some problems but generally I think a lot of complaints stem from the fact that most Americans actually have it so good that they look for things to complain about.
