OP, honestly this doesn't make a lot of sense as with an ID, many kids are diagnosed autism, and even just for developmental delays, they are. I'd keep doctor shopping as you need the support. I would not let it go in your situation. I'd try someone new, not give them the medical records and highlight the features more carefully. |

Op here. I have done that. There are actually centers that only do ASD evals and I’ve gone in and even straight up lied. But when they meet DS it’s apparent. I’ve been to over a dozen docs now. My kid has a lot of challenges but ASD just isn’t one of them. |
