We have bigger issues like the APE nutters infiltrating various committees. Her likes-to-scream-at-immigrant-women “campaign manager” is spreading RWNJ propaganda via email groups and APS committees. WTF?

Apparently APE chairs all the ACTL committees now. I loved watching them praise Dr. Durán and APS up and down at the ACTL work session! I guess now that MT is on the board, they are big supporters.

Also loved watching the APE-chair's head explode when staff explained to them that the All In tutoring isn't helpful. You can see it on video.

Someone in APS is saying tutoring isn’t helpful?

That's the point. The APS chairs had the mike for half the meeting and all they did was gush about APS. Turns out, now that they've gotten to know APS, they like it.

She's only been on the board for a month. She's learning the ropes of being a SB member, just like every new SB member.

Well for all of Miranda's trashing of APS, the staff, and teachers, we will all be watching to see what an amazing job she does with her new found power and position. Let's not forget that she ran and won that seat pretty much unopposed. It is so easy to criticize, let's see how she performs now that the job is hers.

Maybe in the end I will come to be angry at MIranda, but I will say this now: she has put in the work to get on the board. 99% of parents have done far less than her and just complain in places like here. I respect her for that.

Umm … she “put in the work” badmouthing staff and teachers for a couple years. Then she ran against a real candidate. After losing, she waited till no one was really running for the office and then she was basically handed a seat on the SB. Let’s just be clear about what happened. But good luck to her. It’s easy to criticize.
