Try “spring in a bottle” by Wolffer. It tastes exactly like rose.

Is rose a flavor people like? I never have. Smell is great, though!

Rose with an aigu over the "e" as in pink wine. Not rose like the flower.

I think I already posted in this thread, but I’ve been drinking Fever Tree light tonic with lime. It really is delicious to me. When I did this last January, I found that drinking flavored seltzer in a wine glass did the trick. Something about the wine glass itself made it satisfying enough for me.

Loving all the substitutes! I never drink pop so I bought some Diet Coke last weekend as a treat and that was nice. I still feel like I should just be drinking water, but I’m (still) telling myself it’s healthier than alcohol lol.

I also like the ‘play it forward’. I haaate feeling hungover and even 2 drinks affect my sleep negatively. And I really really like my sleep.

I really like Tost! The rose-ay version. I put it in a champagne glass to feel fancy and it hits the spot. Has a great taste without being too sweet and almost tastes like the real thing. I’m usually a chard person and was tempted to try Fre wine but I’d rather just have a little cake bubbly rather than a chard knock off and will hold out for the real thing for a special occasion.

I’ve tried Fre before and it is terrible, do not recommend.

There are so many sober living instagram accounts out there. Inspiring things to help. I love the before and after pictures. I really hope I’m not too late too reverse damage to my skin and face (44).

I’m two weeks in and I haven’t noticed any benefits. My sleep continues to be uneven, my weight hasn’t changed but maybe there are some internal benefits that I can’t see. I’m happy that I didn’t experience any withdrawal and that I’ve made it through two weeks but it has not been a life altering experience! I think I will be better off just having 2-3 dry days a week come February 1st.

Google thx myriad studies linking drinking to cancer. Maybe you’ll rethink your plan to continue drinking.

The naked mind experiment says it’s takes 2 weeks to get mist benefits and 30 days to really notice.

I am about the same weight now from before Christmas and 2 weeks so far has helped with that.

Honestly I didn't notice any weight loss until about 90 days in. At six months I was down 5 pounds.

Thank you! That makes so much more sense.

What damage do you see?

For some reason this is way easier than last year. I love all the mocktail choices and I think starting in February I will only save wine for a special occasion or if I’m out to dinner on a weekend which isn’t all that often these days as we tend to eat more at home but just one glass with dinner if I do go out. I’m cutting out the “I had a bad day at work/kids are driving me crazy” glass or 3 of wine at home and just sticking with my mocktails. It’s not like I’m getting a buzz or feeling good about it anyway. The mocktail still hits the spot because all I want to do is treat myself and that gets it done.
