Is it because due to highlights and extensions your hair look healthier, glamorous and youthful. May be its not about the bleach.

Natural blond here. So, when I was 8, I looked like a hooker? Like it or not, blond hair is eye catching and blondes receive a lot of atention...much of it unwanted.

Not really? I'm a natural blonde and people ask me all the time who my colorist is.

I’m the PP here, They are asking because they want their fake color to look more natural. People ask me that too because my hair has natural highlights and of course eyebrows do not get natural highlights so my brows are dark and don’t match so everyone thinks it’s fake. Anyway not all blondes are not trying to pass as natural blonde people do a range of obvious fake colors blue, pink, gothic black…

Yeah, I think it depends on your coloring. High contrast looks can be more eye-catching. Some people are better off going a bit darker, like Zooey Deschanel.
