WAY more Attention with Blonde Hair

Yep I'm Asian and although I get lots of attention I am not blonde level. I actually think many beautiful women of color are missed due to the initial attention factor a blonde receives (in other words, a blonde could be a 6 but get the same attention a 10 WOC receives). But this is probably a good thing because strange male attention sucks.

I have a good friend who is a dark blonde/bordering mousy brown, but dyed her hair blonde. She does get attention.

DH told me that because of her blonde hair, she stands out, and at initial glance, she could be striking. But, for him at least, he said when he really looks at her, she's not that attractive. And before someone says, "He only said that to make you feel better..", no, he knew both of us at the same time before we started dating. We all worked together, so if he was interested in her, he could've gone after her but he didn't. DH also prefers darker coloring. But, his comment I think is spot on.

The blonde hair stands out.

My friend decided a few years ago that she was going to stop dying her hair. She went back to her natural hair color. She's a lot older now, so she doesn't care about the attention.

Blondes have more fun! Yes, I could see all this happening to you. It’s true.

Natural blond here. So, when I was 8, I looked like a hooker? Like it or not, blond hair is eye catching and blondes receive a lot of atention...much of it unwanted.

Natural blond and bleached blonde are two different looks

Not really? I'm a natural blonde and people ask me all the time who my colorist is.

THIS - unwanted attention is exactly that - UNWANTED

I have jet black hair and noticed that when I recently got golden highlights...all of a sudden men were being nicer to me and smiling at me and helping me out....it was so strange to go from completely ignored to acknowledged

So many wrongs with this one. I don’t even know where to start.

So true. When my hairdresser learned that I was going through a divorce, she immediately said, I'm mixing up a blond look for you and let's keep your hair a little longer.

I went brunette for a month and felt invisible. Glad the comments on the street ended, but they also ended when I changed neighborhoods and got into my 30s.

Love this for you. Good hairdresser.

Men were nicer except men from the Middle East. Idk why

lol are you joking, Asian and middle eastern men were the most obsessed with me when I had long blonde hair. More than any other group of men. Try going to Korea or Dubai as a blonde with blue eye, you will be treated like royalty

Yes, attractive women with brown hair get treated nicely and attention in public. But nothing compares to the amount of attention you get as a bright blonde with long hair. It’s astounding
