How many billionaires have you met in person?

No one is calling out the “Standford” alum (12/20, 11:53)?

They weren't billionaires.

And a lower tax rate than 99.9% of Americans. Thank them from me for giving back.

They can afford to pay one hell of a lot more and should be forced to. We need more confiscatory tax policies for those income classes.

Orangish complexion with a comb over by any chance?

Trump isn’t a billionaire

You can’t even spell their names correctly so I’m skeptical.

Nik Storonsky was my old boss. He is a mega billionaire

One. Sold a software related company. Normal person. Worked hard and developed a valuable business. Did not come from money. Very entrepreneurial and has developed a number of new ventures since selling the original company. Absolutely nothing off with them and if you had dinner with him you would not think, oh, I’m having dinner with a billionaire.

I went to the birthday party of an oil billionaire. He and my father were friends in college. The thing that surprised me is how low-key his celebration was. He rented the first floor (living, dining room) of a private family rowhoude in Dupont Circle. The family were home but stayed upstairs. Catered food from a good restaurant, good wine, puzzles laid out for the kids. That's it. The rest of it was just old friends sitting together for a good dinner in a comfortable setting.

He told many friends that if they needed money to send their kids to school or for emergencies, he'd loan the needed amount. My impression us he was semi-retired because of unrest in his home country. Instead, running a winery. I think nature tends to put people in their place do that probably keeps him from feeling too powerful.

Yes I know one very well and have met a few others through the one. They’re very anti-woke, I’ll say that’s the outstanding public feature.

I kissed a billionaire

Two, family money. Multiple houses all over the country, Chefs and House Managers in each one. Could be property overseas too, I don’t know. State of the art security because the family is not well-liked. They’ve signed the Giving Pledge but not before creating multiple personal income streams that their large extended family won’t be able to spend down in multiple generations. They haven’t been immune to massive heartbreak and they’re so worried about safety that I’d never switch places with them.

More than I can remember.

2 high school classmates (who I am still in contact with) became billionaires. One through inheritance. The other because she married well and divorced better.

Then I was a senior executive at a bank in the middle east so I had constant contact with billionaires from all over.

Most were just genuine people. Some I liked and got along with, some I couldn't stand. It wasn't their being billionaires though that made me like or dislike them.
