The are not telling anyone but it’s discussed on parent chats. Teacher is still teaching so I’m not sure how the restraining order is put into practice. |
He quit and he's applying for a job at ITDS currently. |
No one knows where Pineda is now. Hopefully he moved on from the education space |
Please clarify: Are you saying that a current Oyster teacher has a restraining order against Meliotis? If so, was this restraining order in place before or after Meliotis returned? |
He was standing in front of ITDS last week meeting and greeting parents as an applicant for a Principal position. |
What I got from a previous post is that an Oyster family (not sure if they are still at the school) has a restraining order against a current teacher. |
Ok |
If that’s true, I feel very sorry for ITDS. |
He's one of a few candidates. We'll see. |
Let's hope ITDS is reading this blog. Parents should be concerned. |
What is ITDS? Someone should warn them |
What his ITDS?!? Those families should know what happened! |
That's right. The teacher has a restraining order for a student. The student is still in the school and so is the teacher. It's insane that he's still around. I think Pineda brought him. OMG, Inspiring Teaching DO NOT hire him. He's inept and big big liar. |
I've tried searching the archives here but can't get a good handle/timeline on the concerns for Pineda. ITDS family member here and don't want us to end up with a bad fit. Can anyone provide a summary? |
Yeah, lots got deleted. Not sure why. 1) He was dismissive of parents' concern about bullying/violence. Accuse parents of being gossipers and exaggerating. 2) He was dismissive of students (never ever learned the name of any of the students, barely made an effort to relate to them, visibly showed disgust/dislike towards students) 3) He was quite inefficient in the running of things, disorganized communications, missed deadlines, etc. 4) He pretty much lied to teachers and parents. Many. He just straight up made up stuff. 5) He pit teachers in OA both campuses against each other 6) He hid data (refused to share the Viewpoint survey results) 7) He cause many very good teachers/staff to quit. 8) He brought in a teacher who touched inappropriately students 9) He played favorite with teachers (creating issues among teachers in different campuses) |
