then get a job that can support a living wage. That's why there is a minimum wage for people just starting out, learning skills etc.

56% of workers earning minimum wage are 25 or older. 38% of workers earning minimum wage are working 35 hours per week or more on their primary (minimum wage) job.

One of my friends is 56 and makes $16 an hour in customer service after she was laid off in middle age. Younger people can usually make more money.

Maybe a $20 minimum wage will finally be the end of tipping. Tipping was always justified by the fact that servers made $3 per hour. What's the justification if they make $20?

Minimum wage doesn't apply to service staff.
