Continue to contact your elected officials and report every crime. We need to take the city back. It was until recently a great place to live.

I am calling every day, and I am also ready to give money to movements like the one promoting ranked voting (https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/07/21/ranked-choice-dc-ballot-initiative/). I will also be voting for moderate candidates of ANY party, rather than voting BY party, to push them out.

Mayor Bowser:
Phone: (202) 727-2643
TTY: 711
Email: eom@dc.gov

You are wasting your time. They ignore everyone who is not black. I was told several times they don't care about me, they have their own to serve.

The mayor advocated for them to be living off the vouchers in the 3rd ward and for all of the churches to support these people with their resources. Bowser literally brought them to the neighborhood.

Either these ANC members have been tricked into trickle down thinking or they are “SINOs” - socialists in name only. Regardless, several of them fawn over whatever “Commissioner Ward” tells them at their ANC meetings.

You’ve got an unhealthy fascination with Bob.

You’re also an idiot: Mary Alice was the true mastermind, and you proles never once suspected it.

This is risible … and so very Trumpy.

Our ANCs and CM Frumin are working as fast as they can to get the bike lanes installed so our new neighbors will have alternative ways to get out their aggression. Please give our electeds some grace while they focus on these important solutions and please continue to welcome our new residents. Promises made, promises kept.

This is the wrong question. The question should be why are the letting this happen in our community?

I also have to wonder what must someone’s life be like that they are getting up early on a Sunday morning and going out stabbing people?

When you are mentally ill and/or high on drugs, time of day or night is not an issue.

The answer is easy. Our politicians aggressively imported criminals to our neighborhoods and trumpeted the message their crimes will not have consequences.

If not for their aggression, an alternative means of escape perhaps?

The AG is focused on gas stoves and Meta. Meanwhile a teen attempting a carjacking downtown by Rasika last night was shot and killed.

There are people out and about then, the metro opens at 8, as does Bread Furst, the Giant, Golds gym. There is literally no fear of consequences whatsoever.

Anyone who has been in DC in recent years knows the city is spiraling out of control. The riff-raft are exponentially more aggressive and unhinged.

Can someone post Frumin’s talking points on voucher problems?

The problem is that you can’t put the people placed through Housing First in the cross hairs bc of a huge systemic problem in the government. We are not seeing the forest for the trees.

I don’t understand your second paragraph.

Is there any way to learn which buildings are eligible for voucher residents? My building is fine but I want to know if it could potentially turn to sht like other places in the neighborhood.

All of them are required to take people w/o consideration of how rent is paid. This included condos rented out.
