Reddit has some good comments on the stabbing and the thugs in the corrupt DC government.

These people you have elected tricked you. Supposedly they are contributing to society, are moral and ethical, but really are just crooks cutting deals and stealing what you have to give to the other for the greater good. They love to justify their crimes with that line. When you are a victim of their system, too bad. Although, you might get an offer for sex work from one of the constituent services directors.

A lot is done off the record. The joke's on us, once they take everything and destroy your life and literally leave you severely disabled and dying of cancer on the sidewalk. These people are pigs.

Goulet said that the voucher program had numerous problems and needed to be revamped. Frumin made bringing in more voucher holders on of his top priorities (“Ward 3 for all” was his slogan).

I have no clue why Ward 3 voters picked the voucher champion over the voucher skeptic. But even if voters do wake up, the next election is still years away.

If I recall at the time, people in DC were very anti Republican because they had PTSD from Trump.
