I don't think any of these Swift fans watching are actually expanding the NFL fan base. They are only watching to catch glimpses of Swift and her friends. It is more like Beatlemania. They have no interest in football and when they break up, they will never watch an NFL game again. They are obsessed with a pop star, not a sport.

If NFL is interesting, they'll stay.

I hope they get married and the NFL hosts a live TV wedding special. Every SNF leading up to the wedding will feature a different element of the wedding: the dress, the venue/host city, the invite list. They will ask questions like: Will he shave his mustache? Which commentators are invited and who didnt make the guest list? Will their wedding song be a Taylor Swift ballad? Will his shoes have "Hail to the Chiefs" at the bottom? Will Brittany Mahomes be a bridesmaid?

It would be a glorious thing to behold.

But how biased will the refs be to make sure the chiefs don't suck? The refs already made sure Maholmes gets evrrrrrrrrry single call already, and that was before Swift entered the fray. Now they're going to triple down to make sure the Chiefs don't suck and get everything called their way. It completely ruins the integrity of play. Let me remind you of the horrendous call the Chiefs got in the super bowl last year that essentially cost the Eagles the Super Bowl:

If Taylor is still dating Travis by the Super Bowl, Chiefs are winning it 100%. The NFL can't risk the wrath of all the pre-teen girls in the country!

Maybe they can go on a wedding tour and re-enact the wedding in every city!! Fans deserve this!!!

There's footage from years ago of her talking about how she can't control all the chaos around her, and that she knows it has destroyed relationships (both friends and boyfriends), and that she can only hope she's enough that they try. That's why I love this.
