Trust me I know the ins and out of gender ideology. The problem I have with it has nothing to do with people pretending to be transgender. The problem I have with gender ideology itself. Why do I care if you think I’m not a feminist? It doesn’t matter what you think. What matters is what I think. The 15-week ban is what Youngkin will admit to wanting in public because he thinks there’s some sort of national consensus forming around that timeline (there’s not) - same as Lindsay Graham who lost the US Senate in 2022 for the Republicans when he said they would push for a national 15-week ban. But in private he has said he will sign any legislation that comes from a Republican majority legislature and that will not just be 15 weeks.
