For the actual test, I got a "fine".

For all that people are paying for this - they should have them staffed appropriately so that everyone has the same testing experience.

How do you force the appropriate people to work on a Saturday —especially the last weekend before schools reopen? Proctors are almost always teachers interested in a little extra spending money, but they can earn the same amount DoorDashing.

I mean how does anyone get appropriate employees? They need to figure it out. Pay them more is where you’d start, I’m assuming. Does anyone really feel sorry for college board??

^^ by the sounds of things, most people DID have the same experience, delays.

you can't make every place in the country put on the a/c however.

Are you seriously saying that someone would prefer to drive around and get in and out of their car on a hot August day versus sitting in an air-conditioned school watching some kids take a test? You’re trippin’.

Okay, but proctoring is a one-off. It’s not exactly a whole second job. So the calculation isn’t 4 hours of door dash vs. 4 hours of SAT work. It’s whether they want to do the SAT work in addition to whatever second job they already likely have.

I am sure. And some of it will even be true.

When do they come out? What time?

The fact that many sites couldn’t hold a test due to lack of AC and staffing makes me really concerned about the digital rollout. It’s going to be a mess.

Just pretend you’re 17 again in the 1980s and you have to wait for the US mail delivery. When nothing comes, you have wait an entire 24 hours to check again.
