U.S. dating pool: Nearly 50% of 18-49 year olds have tattoos

Sorry, it was 100% a non-starter when I was last single 20 years ago. I find them truly repulsive. I don’t care how small or obscure.

In Japan you are not allowed into the onsens (like a spa) if you have visible tattoos, and you just wear a towel in there. It's a sign of being a gang member.

Very wrong, spoiling your skin like that

I think they are sexy. I’m trying to convince my UMC husband to get one.

I see tattoos everywhere. Women with calves and full sleeves and tatted out.

I really hate the look of women in wedding dresses or beautiful evening gowns with tattoed arms and back. It just doesn't look right.

It doesn't look right to whom? If it bothered them, they wouldn't have gotten it or covered it.

For real. Plus, women in ball gowns with sleeves can be an incredible look. I think it can still be tasteful, but it gives an edgier vibe. This is a woman that I would want to talk with at a party

Ha, I’ve heard that women with tattoos are more likely to be approached by men but this is because of the perception that she’s more promiscuous and easier, not that she’s more attractive. Men seem to like women with tattoos for NSA arrangements and women without tattoos for marriage.

I am a woman, and I think this look is very hot.

Forget the tattoo percentage when it comes to the dating pool. It’s the overweight/obese numbers that tell the story.

I didn't realize that mobile homes had bathroom mirrors that were that large.

Man here, she is quite hot. She would be hotter without the tattoos though. I would definitely sleep with that woman, and definitely not marry her.

I agree. Also, I'd rather no tatoos at all. I also feel this way about piercings, and that weird creepy habit of mutilating some little boys at birth.

+1.

I agree OP, it’s terrible. I feel like I hit the jackpot by finding my gf who is beautiful, in her 20’s, hasn’t slept around, AND has no tattoos.

This!! She is the only one indeed. Love her.
The rest are usually un/undereducated and unattractive.

I don’t have tattoos but I actually find it to be a red flag if someone is over the top judgmental about them. Like if they make a big deal out of me not having one it creeps me out. If I head a flower tattoo on my ankle you’d suddenly be disgusted? Grow up.

I’m a woman and think they are defacing. I like graffiti art but that doesn’t mean I want it on my body. Also the aesthetic style of tattoo art is usually so tacky & ugly.
