Counterpoint. It is entirely normal to actually be hungry for more than five minutes. Random snacking to make that stop all the time is a bad idea. It’s called planning what you are going to eat and when. |

I don't think many people understand what it is to actually feel physically hungry. It is NOT the same as not feeling full. I think way too many people think they're hungry, when in fact they're just not full. |
A medical professional of any type has more access to knowledge and information. Chill PP. |
I think most medical professionals know Jack about proper eating. |
Yes, I read it and these were my main takeaways: You’d be hard-pressed to find an American who actually needs more protein, though, said Eric Rimm, a professor of epidemiology and nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Most meat eaters get far more than the recommended daily dose of protein (which is about 0.4 grams per pound of body weight). And those who don’t eat meat can get enough protein from plant sources like tofu, nuts and legumes. You also might consider opting for a different snack that’s just as portable and nutritious, Dr. Rimm said, like grapes, a banana, an apple or yogurt with berries. Dr. Nestle suggested a handful of nuts and Mr. DiMarino recommended tuna or hard-boiled eggs, which are high in protein but not processed. But you likely don’t need to stress about ensuring you’re meeting, or exceeding, your daily protein allotment. “People just need to relax about protein intake,” Dr. Cutting-Jones said. |
I’d definitely pick tuna/eggs over a protein bar. But as for amount of protein, nah, I disagree with the epidemiologist. |
Thin people who eat a lot require more Food/fuel to do the same thing as larger people who don’t eat much. That means the thin people are less efficient with calorie intake as it requires them more calories to do the same thing. |
Most diets fail because people are not eating enough calories |

I stand corrected! Not *quite* nobody agrees with me. But skimming the rest of the thread is seems we are pretty rare indeed… |
Says you. I get the munchies when I smoke. What are typing that that's your autocorrect outcome? |
You're comparing calorie restriction to starvation and illness? |
All i know is that for me, the more protein I eat, the less hungry I am and the more weight I lose. It also helps me get toned very quickly. |
