Spotify dropped Harry and Markle

I like them just fine but I think it's becoming clear that they are pretty ordinary once you peel back the fame and title. Harry should continue his service work. He seems good at it.

Imho both of them are reasonably good at their respective professions of acting and fund raising. Its just the flaunting of Royal connection, celebrity hobnobbing, media hype, family drama and victimhood which makes their brand repulsive. If a brand is a 6 but sold as 10 with fancy packaging and celebrity marketing, consumers stop watching and buying.

PP here - I agree with the bolded and most of your post except I don't personally care about the family drama and victimhood. They given as good as they've gotten in that regard. But I do agree that the brand is a about a 6 and sold as a 10. I can't decide if I blame them or the media circus that hyped their every move or both equally. Definitely time for them to hole up, regroup, and become more low profile.

I think they could keep a reality series going for a few seasons if they had the kids on a lot and hired attractive staff. It could be an American version of "Upstairs Downstairs".

Really? I loved them!

Why did they stop? They could have had an endless procession of celebrity guests.

No celebrity wanted to be associated with them. And it turns out it wasn't so much a discussion with MM -- just her monologing and splicing the celeb being interviewed by a producer

One of the executives referred to them as grifters. I don’t think their future path is in the entertainment industry - they’ve left a trail of “low productivity” and being notoriously difficult to work with. They must be bleeding money with their cost of living. I bet an essentially free frogmore cottage, security, Royal income, major invitations, private schools, private jets to Caribbean with william, skiing in Switzerland, being the darling boy etc. all being paid for in exchange for doing an event 3 times a week doesn’t seem so bad anymore!

The trust is broken. No one wants them back.

Their families don’t trust them nor do the celebrities they so want to ingratiate themselves with, because they’ve proven to be liars and opportunists.

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer couple!

The problem with these two that they take themselves too seriously to embrace being "entertainers".
