+1 Ask her about planning time for teachers among many issues in schools right now that stand in the way of our children getting a solid education. So glad she sits at a softball games....golf clap for her!

Dr. Reid.....is this you?

No, it wasn’t. But some of y’all act like these folks don’t care, when they regularly show up at school events after hours and on weekends.

“Care” and “contractual obligation” aren’t the same thing.

So, what do people think about this? More money for lawyers....

Should have just released a report with PII redacting admitting the screw up updated policies and procedures and moved on. You can’t prove a negative so now the perception of a coverup creates even bigger problems and costs more tax dollars.

Interesting, because when she shows up at schools, she only stays for a few carefully scripted moments. If she shows at all…which she didnt do at my school after RSVPing yes.

Wtf?? So my kid who maintains averages above 95 in all classes will now have the same grades as kids with low 90s? How to is there fair? There’s no incentive to get high As now.

There is a difference in the level of understanding/quality of work between A+/-, B+/-. The way that equity grading is being implemented in FCPS is sneaky. It’s a slow creep. First get rid of any grade below 50, don’t count homework, get rid of +/-. Allow individual schools to adopt SBG. Train teachers and administrators how to effectively shut down critics.

This has not been stated anywhere. Plus/minus isn’t going away.
