LOL! So Baird got permission from ACPS communications to defend this to voters, parents and teachers? And she did it?! ![]() Why am I not surprised? Open ACPS and her private school parent supporters sure know how to pick 'em! |
Absolutely. I think Baird and Booz’s focus on changing the Board’s terms / numbers / election years is also indicative of them generally being beholden to (and viewing themselves as an arm of) of ACPS rather than as elected officials providing oversight (on behalf of the voters). |
1000+ given that the district is in dire condition, their focus on changing the SB elections (that they don't have the authority to change - the General Assembly does) shows how little they care for students. |
Literally. Per The Atlantic “Yet the reality is that black sororities are—and have been—hard at work on a political agenda that seeks to improve the American experience of blacks and women across the country. And unlike most other sororities, membership in a black sorority is not simply a college phase, but a lifelong commitment. Alumnae comprise 75 percent of the active membership of these groups. Black sororities do not confine their concerns to college campuses.” |
Interesting. Which one does she belong to, and who in ACPS are the sorors and heir apparents for the big jobs? |
This has been common in APS for specials teachers |
I'm in a historically white sorority and it is lifetime, not just college. Now my collegiate chapters are very diverse with women of all racial and ethnic backgrounds. I'm a national officer in my sorority and active in our alumni groups. What does this have to do with ACPS and Dr. Kay-Wyatt? What sorority is she in? I don't notice her mentioning her sorority at all.
