Meghan Markle Pink Short Suit at Lakers Game

Anonymous
The belt is bad. Very bad. This looks like an outfit to an Easter egg roll. I cut him a break because as someone posted upthread, he has never lived casually. She's an LA girl going to a Lakers game who forced her husband to leave Britain. She needs to represent herself better from a fashion sense on her home turf.

I like linen and I like the pink color.

I find the extremely high heals that she wore with the pink suit to be odd to an athletic event but she and Harry were probably dropped off at the front door of the venue and may have not had to walk 1/2 mile or more to the venue like most attendees.

HEELS, not heals. And no it’s not a typo, because some of you people write that all the time on this forum. Heels = feet. Heals = doctors.

I personally wouldnt wear a linen short suit, but I can see how its a cute outfit...but it doesn't fit, the sleeves should not be rolled up and the heels look ridiculous. And its a wrinkly mess.

Yikes. She's pretty but that outfit is a wrinkled mess.

It's a relaxed fit. She's not a flight attendant.

When you have stick thin legs, you don’t wear baggy, boxy shorts. It’s not flattering.

She could have paired the tee and baggy blazer with jeans or pants and looked a million times better.

This comment is just… what?

She has thin, toned legs. They look amazing in shirts and a pair of high heels. The outfit would look cute with jeans but the whole point of the shorts is to show off her legs, which are fantastic.

This is like saying that if you have a narrow waist and a flat stomach, you should hide it under baggy sweatshirts because, ugh, who wants to see you perfect waist-to-hip ration and toned abs. Cover it up! What on earth.

She does not have toned legs. At the jubilee where she wore a white coat dress, her no-waist under the thick coat ale fabric made her look like a fridge resting on needles.

A la SpongeBob.

I'm the PP who posted the photo and UGH, USE GOOGLE.

No. OP is asking for our opinion and feedback on an outfit. If she is too lazy to post a link or a photo, she can deal with our reaction to her failure to do so. Bye.

Lol. Oh you’re begging for a fight like some pushed out loser in the throes of perimenopause. Have an estrogen smoothie and chill a little.

“Lol”? Oh, you are definitely older than me. Your insecurity is coming across loud and clear. I didn’t even know there were such things as “estrogen smoothies.” You have a great day, though. Maybe your granddaughter can teach you how to posts links and photos on this site, even though Jeff has already provided clear instructions.

You’re as cool and relaxed as an extremely wrinkled pink shorts suit, it’s awesome.

This is a bad outfit. OP, you are better than a cheap looking oversized wrinkled linen short suit in hot pink. Come on.

I think it stems from having had to dress so formally for so much of his youth -- it always looks off. I think his jacket looks stuffy and his t-shirt is too white and starched looking. It looks like he's trying when this is a setting where he should look very relaxed and comfortable. William is the same -- he always looks like a stuffed shirt even when Kate dresses him down for family photos and events.

She grew up in LA and in film industry, he grew up in London in royal industry so both should know how to dress for the occasion and they have enough resources, helpers and stylists to help them.

Yes, this is the look. Reminds me of this iconic outfit on Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (I have every outfit in that movie imprinted on my long term memory like my multiplication tables):

I loved the color of that suit because I'm also a redhead and that shade of color is ultra-flattering on redheads. Obviously Meghan's version is a trendier color and the fit is more modern -- shorter shorts and boxier jacket, with a tank instead of a blouse. But same vibe and I love it.

Oh my gosh, great callback - and it looks great on both of them. Both more mature and adult, and less fussy/stuffy than a lot of women's clothes tend to be.

Its a cute outfit but not practical or appropriate for many occasions but most designer clothing isn't.

Harry is also always wrinkled, in down at the heel shoes, and he isn’t as fit as William. Whatever the critique, William and Kate know their roles and their outfits always look great. Things are ironed. Extensions are managed. Shoes aren’t a mess. Bronzer isn’t applied with a paint roller. Etc.

She doesn’t have toned legs. That’s a wrinkle mess. Stilettos and shorts are out of place in that event.

Idk if she forced him. He seems like someone who was waiting all his life for a fairy godmother to take him away.
