Which ACPS board candidates have kids attending ACPS schools?

She's awful. Clearly waiting around to be hired by Hutchings. I also can't find anything solid on what she currently does for a living.

What have these four done or accomplished? Very curious.

Baird was part of the safety group within ACPS that took 8 months to make recommendations.

Ignacio ran off a bunch of really good teachers while still an AP, so there’s that. She bounced around all levels of ACPS for years with no accomplishments to speak of—the literal definition of dead weight— but people love her husband…

And didn't she say on the democrat wine mom podcast that the Hispanics would vote for her because of her last name?

She tried to tell a few TC teachers that the kids would respect her more than them for the same reason.

Spoiler alert: they didn’t.

Her casual racism and the tolerance for it among her peers is not surprising. This is Alexandria after all.

No doubt. I remember when she made excuses for one of her buddies- also an AP at TC- who’d been overheard using a racial slur towards a black student - claims that she couldn’t possibly be racist because she adopted a Latino child and everyone must have been mistaken about the word they heard.

Wow! Disgusting. No one cares about that but if a parent speaks out against ACPS, they immediately get labeled as a racist.

I think it’s fine for at least two people on a school board to not have kids. Those of us without kids have to endure the chaos at the Bradlee center and it’s all due to the schools. Schools intersect with public life so I see nothing wrong with it.
