| Softball has been a very positive experience. |
There are also clubs at a number of schools that compete with each other. |
| We moved out of the area, and now it is ski team. Kids love it, and it gives us our weekends to ski together or go do other things while they are practicing in nature with a great group of friends. |

Cross country. No drama - nice fall meets, most families are friendly and gracious.

+1, we moved and went from MCSL to a small low key league in the exurbs with just 1 meet per week and it is everything summer swim should be. |
I agree that as a parent it can be hard to break in socially as a lot of the families have known each other for multiple summers and the kids become right. We met and made a lot of friends through swim team once we as parents started to get more involved and volunteer. My kids love love love summer swim and are already counting down the days until the pool opens |
| My now-senior has played ultimate frisbee since middle school and it’s been amazing. The league is run well, but it’s also not intense or inflexible. She’s made great friends and while she doesn’t love everyone she interacts with, they don’t tolerate obnoxious behavior from anyone. Because they don’t have referees she’s developed collaboration and problem solving skills. It’s not expensive and they play in one form or another all year. Parents are encouraged to watch but there’s never that crazy intensity that I felt when my older child played soccer. |
| Basketball. The kids loved it. |

| Ultimate frisbee |
2nd worst behavior seen by parents. Every.Single.Parent is certain their snowflake is going to play professionally. It is pathetic. Worst is hockey. Omg, the parents. |
